Compatibility notes:
To use PowerPress with Wpcast, you have to set the Podcasting post type to Post, and the Podcast taxonomy archive to “QT Series”.
Player:
If you don’t want to use the provided QT Music Player, you can use the player from PowerPress. It has other great advantages, but you’ll need to give up the non-stop music across pages (disable the Ajax plugin provided with the theme).
Anyway, we suggest to NOT use the player from PowerPress, and use instead the theme’s one.
Use theme’s player with PowerPress
To do so, in Appearance > Customizer you will find a section dedicated to PowerPress, where you can enable a function to hide the player from PowerPress and use instead the one from the theme.
Podcast episode
After creating a podcast normally, you can copy the MP3 file URL and paste it in the Media field of the PowerPress section, below the post content.
