This theme adds several custom shortcodes. You can add them manually or via Visual Composer.
There is a dedicated section for each shortcode. Please read it in case some detail setting is not clear.

The demo sites shows only a small amount of things you can do with the custom shortcodes, you’ll see in the manual that there are a lot of options and possibilities to achieve very unique results.

For releases, podcasts and events the cards can display special contents, such as tracks and line up.

How to add cards carousels

• Post type: cards only works with predetermined post types, you find them in the dropdown
• Order by: in case of events, they will always be ordered by event date. For other post types you can choose among date, page order (when available) and more
• Title: displays a title at the top of the carousel
• ID: you can display a list of contents by ID, the contents needs to belong to the selected post type
• Quantity: you have to choose from the dropdown. It’s limited for performance reasons.
• Filter by category: each post type has an associated taxonomy. To find the correct taxonomy slug you can edit the taxonomy and see the slug. In this example you can see the slug for a Release taxonomy (genre):
  
• Offset: this field requires a number, and defines the amount of elements to skip in the results. For example, if you use a slideshow and don’t want to repeat the results in the carousel below, set as “offset” the amount of item contained in the slider above.

Important info:

The slideshow is VERY flexible, you can set different proportions and font sizes, hide and show button and metas.

This means that you CAN set conflicting parameters, causing a bad result. If the text doesn’t fit in the box and appears cropped, or the contents don’t appear as you with, please try to edit proportion, titles sizes and other parameters to fit with the type of contents and spaces where you are adding the slideshow.

Important: is very important to choose the right Design depending on the column width and the available space. This shortcode is very flexible, therefore it also allows you to obtain ugly results if not carefully set.

• Title: displays a title at the top of the list
• ID: you can display a list of contents by ID, the contents needs to belong to the selected post type

• Filter by category: set a category SLUG

You can add several layers to obtain a better 3D effect. In the product package, you can find:

• PSD templates for the demo examples, that you can customize for your website
• the pdf manual to guide you through the editing

Important: the contents of the decorative layers need to stay far from the edge to avoid a “cutted” effect when moving the mouse.

It can only display Album releases. If no ID is specified, it will always display the latest album of your archive.

To use the Play function, you need the Kentha Player plugin active and a release with MP3 list.

Important: this shortcode is built to work only on a fullscreen row (not boxed, always in 15 columns width).
If used differently than as in the demo it may render in ugly ways.

To use it, create a page, choose the Page Composer template, add a row and select “Full Height” as row attribute.

The amount of results is limited for performance reasons. In mobile view the design switch to vertical mode.

Clicking on the play icon the album will be added to the playlist and start playing (Kentha Player installed).

Clicking on the title will lead to the single release page.
